My copywriting process is straightforward and focused on addressing every aspect of a project. I call it the "SPICE 'EM" approach, because good copy should always be well-seasoned in all its aspects: Style, Purpose, Information, Client/Audience, Emotion/Connotation, Ethics/Etiquette, and Medium.

I typically use an Integrated Marketing Communications framework for my projects. This means two things. First, that your messaging efforts will consistently embody your brand across all communications channels with your clientele ("touch points"). Second, that text and design elements will work together in harmony.

And that's it! Great messages and marketing are often dramatic; working with me isn't.


You might very ask: how much do my services cost? The answer, of course, is that it depends on your project (e.g. generating a tagline, writing a press release, developing a brand concept, and so on). After you contact me and we chat about what you need, I'll put together a detailed quote that covers costs and schedules. Factors that determine my fee include:

  • project complexity

  • research / preparation time

  • schedule

As a rule of thumb, you can anticipate paying approximately $400 per page of text. I charge a flat rate so you know exactly how much you're paying. Complete custom-crafted wedding ceremonies start at $600.
